The Alexander County Sheriff's Office made two arrests in a recent spree of chicken house break-ins and copper thefts.

Monday, investigators arrested Steven Michael Worley, 34, of Taylorsville. Another man, Rickey Dee Wiles, was already under arrest.

Both men are accused of breaking into chicken houses and stealing copper wiring.  Worley is charged with 12 counts Breaking and Entering, 12 counts larceny, and three counts damage to property.
